Celebrating a Danish Week in Caracas at Monteavila University

The photographic exhibition of the Faeroe Islands once again visits the city of Caracas at Monteávila University for a complete week from October 21st to October 25th of the current year. 

This  magnificent exhibition "18 wonderful natures" of twenty-two (22) photos shows the awe-inspiring nature, wildlife and culture of the Faeroe Islands. During this week, you will experience through many artistic ways what this archipelago has for you.

You will experience the picture's review through maximum technology of the QR Code, meaning spectators will have the opportunity to scan the code and listen to them in their smartphones. So, you would not like to forget your earphones for this Week.

These pictures were provided by the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade of the Faeroe Islands and by distinguished both passionate and professional photographers to the archipelago, such as: Alessio Messiano, Amy Haslehurst, Nicola Bonderer, Janis Krakops, Zoe Timmers, Gabriel Nivera, Greg Balkin, Kevin Faingneart, Jan Keller, Ingrid Hofstra, and Valentin & Roman.

At the same time, the Honorary Consulate of Denmark in Caracas in alliance with the Monteávila University, together organized a Danish Film Festival during the week. On Monday, we will be screening "A Royal Affair" (2012) by Nikolaj Arcel; On Wednesday "Across the Waters" (2016) by Nicolo Donato and On Friday "Walk With Me" by Lisa Ohlin. These movies are going to be screened at 10:00 a.m. in the Principal Auditorium of the above mentioned University. No fees apply.
